History
In the beginning
We began in 1980's as a twinkle in the eye of a very charismatic man. Blair Barber was raised on a farm, 5th side Rd east of airport Rd. Blair loved solving solutions and broom ball. Blair was a great thinker, and was always smiling. At one point in time Blair owned the Rosemont General store, and the Rosemont shell station. This is where we got our start by adding towing to the station. Big or small Blair towed them all! Being a true businessman Blair keep ahead of the competition through keeping up with the latest equipment and practice.
Quialty of Service
Through time Rosemont flourished, driven by the hard working team Blair hand chose. Adding the latest equipment to the every growing fleet. from the one truck operation to the empire it is today, known through the province for honest & dependable.
The Next Generation
In 2003 Blair started to scale back, preparing for retirement, selling Rosemont towing heavy division to Wayne Ward, and selling Rosemont Towing Inc Blair helped after the sale. In 2016 Rosemont Towing & Float Services Inc. was purchased by Wayne Ward. Including the famous 435 5228 phone number, this number was the final piece at putting Rosemont together again.
Wayne started his towing career at Rosemont in the early 90's. Many of you may recognize him as he has always worked closely with Rosemont Towing often helping them when Rosemont needed a little help or a lot of muscle. Wayne has many ties in the area, including volunteer at Rosemont Fire Dept.
Over time our loads have changed. big or small. You call we haul! from lawn to field tractors, excavator, skid steer, many other equipment, & machinery, decking services, freight, and so much more.
